A/N: Okay guys. Here's a little one-shot I made out of nowhere. Now I know I said I was going to update but I'm having trouble making my chapters flow and not be too jumpy or confusing. But I promise once I smooth them over I will have them out!

The grass was fresh with dew yet lay dead to the world. The hollow, stale air, usually still and silent, moved through the area like a moaning ghost chained to this earth instead of freed to heaven.

No one dared to enter this deathly place but watched through icy windows as a snow white fog floated through the night.

Everyone knew better than set a foot outside on a night like this. Far away lightning struck the ground angrily sending vibrations through the homes. A door swings open as a young girl flees her forsaken childhood home. Angry shouts at her back she fled down the sidewalk tears pounding onto the pavement below her.

Neighbors watched in horror as the foolish girl ran deeper into the fog. Her silver eyes focused ahead, her mind determined to get away.

Life had been cruel to her and no one had an idea. God had betrayed her giving her these chains. She wanted freedom. She wanted her dreams and not anyone else’s.

Deeper and deeper she went and thicker and thicker the fog was. Puddles left astray splashed under her feet. She couldn’t stop, wouldn’t stop, in fear they would catch her.

Around her the thick fog covered, blinded her from the trees. Keeping her from knowing exactly where she was.

A dark figure loomed in the distance, a gleam in his hand. She had no idea what he was doing or he was behind her. She just ran.

He pulled his arm back aiming well, and let it go. Gleaming in the fog, she saw it too late. It plunged inward as she gripped the air around her. Her mouth agape, blood seething, and her eyes searched for what happened. As the light slowly faded, she let go of everything and just said…good-bye.
