Put your hands against the wall

I’ll put my there too

On either side of your head

We’ll kiss and I’ll lean into you

Then I’ll take those hands

Wrap them around you

I can be an octopus, I can be a baby

I just want to hold you close

And maybe be yours and yours alone

I want to cook for you while you drink wine

Flipping through a magazine and talking

I want the wine to go to your head

So you’ll laugh without any trouble in your voice

We can forget that we have to go to work

Then we’ll just wake up and hide under the sheets

I’ll tell you about my childhood and you can tell me

About the mean girls that told you lies

I can be a priest, I’ll try and be a counselor

I just want to listen to your problems and help you through

And maybe be yours and yours alone
