Another day of hope

Light trying to reveal

The way out of this place

But it all goes down in flames

You tell me I’m becoming redundant

Need to fight my way up

But eventually life knocks you down

And finally you find

You can’t get up anymore

Too many chances

Too many failures

I’m getting sick of this

A taste of hypocrisy

Trying to pretend

Like nothings wrong again

But your pushing me again

Waiting for the reaction

You know will come

Waiting for me to explode

And the laughter sure to follow me

So it’s just another day of hope
