As I lean,

Out my open window,

Imagining what I can’t see…

As I wander,

I come to the crossroads,

Dividing my mind…

As I float,

Through dreams,

And through nightmares…

As I pass,

Through the dreary shades,

Of emotions long suppressed…

As I live,

This hatred bound,

And confusing existence…

As I search,

My heart and mind,

For the answers…

As I fall,

Swiftly from grace,

Rock bottom beckoning…

As I climb

Higher up,

Acid rising in my wake...

As I plead,

With my heart,

To guide me through…

As I listen,

To the music,

That describes me so well…

As I write,

The poetry and prose,

That show me as I really am…

As I hide,

Behind this wall,

Covering myself in this façade…

As I wish,

For what was,

And what could be…

As I die,

Pulled into hell,

By my never ending animosity…

As I scream,

To save my self,

From myself...

As I Lie,

Covering up lies,

With more lies…

As I try,

To turn around,

To right the wrong…

As I end,

This rein of terror,

Caused by raging emotions…

As I stop,

Writing this poem,

I stop feeling…

I used the lines to seperate the stanzas because that was the only way i could keep the spacing correct. R&R
