City lights I’ve never known

I come from a doll’s house, a puppet’s home

I don’t want to be a minion

I must forge my own opinion

I’m leaving

Slow down

And tell me where are you going to go?

Slow down

There’s no place like home

I’m going to the city sunset, colour, tone

I’ve been living in black and white for too long

I’m packing the bags; opening the door

A well of resolve I’ve never felt before

It’s time for me … to go

Slow down

And tell me where are you going to go?

Slow down

My love won’t let you go

You

Can’t

Stop

Me

Tonight
