Diamonds are a girl’s best friend
They are certainly in the trend.
Reflections of iridescent light,
Fills the owner with glorious delight.
A smile appears upon her face
Which fills up the empty space.
The diamond sparkles with glee,
Don’t we wish diamonds were free!
Expense doesn’t deter some
Some even buy them just for the fun
Of owning such a beautiful artefact,
Fake diamonds; the lead is all a false act
To pretend that the owner owns their weight in gold.
However, the real diamonds have already been sold.
