A/N: Written for my Language of Poetry class. The requirements was to have 8 lines and we had to use 6 words given to us (courtesy, ferment, mercurial, overture, saboteur and bequeathed), each in a separate line.
Disrupted Passion
By: Lauren
His courtesy was beyond the requirement,
Which caused my heart to ferment.
With every passing glance and touch.
His mercurial behavior took me by surprise,
Yet this was but an overture,
To the saboteur of my heart,
Even though he bequeathed to me all that he was.
It was now too late.
