Quick Author's Note: I don't usually write poetry (I kind of suck at it, and prefer prose), but this was for an English project and I feel that these three haiku are particularly well done, and they accurately potray how I see the writing process.

Inspiration strikes
A silver lining in clouds
Beauty in the dark

Words flow like water
Angst or peace; all alluring
Dancing on the page

Read with silent eyes
Caught in rapture, following
Text down winding paths
