Tapestry of Dreams
The colors of the web gone, spun into this dreary still dream, the water surrounds me, dreams, still and smooth.
Deserted and quiet, life slows and burns
Down, down, down, I flow
On a wave that runs forever, past the island in the river, the stream bore me far, far. The whitened willows and quivering aspens stir not in the shivery breeze, hanging upside down like gray, gray threads from the loom
Their leaves fall lightly upon my snowy gown, past the lily pads I go, donned in shroud, singing of life I’ll never know.
Even the sun pales with no glassy mirror to reflect upon.
Darkened and alone, at least I emerged from the shadow, no matter if the world is only half bright—the undercoat of a canvas yet unfinished by its painter. The sky reflects upon the water, the water on sky, colors mixed on the palette, as, at the end, death breathes and mingles with life. God, in his mercy, lend me Grace. No more, the Lady of Shalott.
A/N: FP won't let me add the picture link in here, I don't know why since it worked with the other two, but it just deletes it and the sentence before the link. Sorry, and if anyone knows how to fix it, please tell me. Thanks:)
