Between reading books

And standing at the library

Picking them out.

I go to school,

Composing dialogue between classes.

I've mastered the art

Of walking,

While concentrating

On the page in front of me

Without knocking anything over.

I sleep,

But stay awake in bed

Creating characters

In my last moments

Of consciousness.

I live and breathe

Stories.
