I told you everything

I let you in

I now regret it all

Where do I begin?

When you stole my heart

Slit it open

Sewed it up

And left it broken

You told those lies

And all believed

I’m suffocating

And I can’t breathe

You took me in

For three long years

You kicked me out

In shame and tears

You told me that

I brought you life

You tell me now

It was all a lie

That you only wanted

What I couldn’t give

You battered me good

But I still lived

So I’m back here now

Here to say

That I’m free from your lies

And free from your shame

You hurt me once

You hurt me twice

But I am back

Fully alive

I watch you now

As you burn and beat

But you know what I am?

Your inevitable defeat
