She came to me,

When the night was at its shadiest.

The darkness,

Thick as it was could not stop Her.

She came on silent feet.

Clothed in silk,

Dark as the night sky,

Flowing as the water of Earth.

Her raven colored hair flowing down Her back,

Blowing across Her face,

As if to hide it mistress.

Waving beckoning to me.

She reached out Her arms to me,

Calling me.

Calling me to come dance,

To come dance with Her.

Her arms waved in the air as a wave in the water,

Her hips swinging to an inaudible rhythm.

Her bare feet lifting high,

The single silver bangle that graced Her right foot captivated me.

Finally Her eyes met mine,

That split second in time,

I was in complete turmoil.

Wanting that which was forbidden.

My longing to join,

In Her exhilaration,

Became so tremendous,

To the point where there was no other option.

Though as my body,

Told me one thing,

My mind,

Told me another.

My mind would not settle,

Why this creature,

Of such amazing beauty,

Would be out at this time and not under a watchful eye.

But as She continued in Her way,

I found that my mind,

Began to forget its previous questions,

Its previous forbiddance.

Obeying Her call,

For no other choice did I have,

Her calling was so persistent.

I went to Her.

She took my hands,

Pulling me into Her dance.

So intrigued in Her was I that I lost all sense.

North, South, East, West were one to me.

As we danced,

My sense of my mortality grew.

She the graceful creature the She is,

Seemed to me immortal.

The dance deepened,

The darkness around us closed in.

No longer could I see anything save for Her.

She held my attentions completely.

It was then,

That we began to fall.

Though we still danced,

Danced on air.

We fell into a courtyard.

It was there,

Laying on my back,

In the grass.

There I realized what had happened.

And as it dawned on me,

She left.

Running off leaving me there.

It was there that I realized who She was,

Where I was,

What had happened.

I had died.

She,

She was Milady,

Milady Death

Death by Innocent Murder.

I write this to warn you,

My living friend,

Things are not what they seem.

Never what they seem.

Beauty may hide pain,

And pain great beauty.
