Ghosts

By: QDT

In this dark and dusty house,
A ghostly deer he walks,
And in this dark, dusty house,
A ghostly bear he talks.

In their own forgotten language
The bear and deer converse.
They patiently await the hour
When drives up does the hearse.

And so they sit and watch and wait
For something that has never come
They sadly sit and watch the road
Until released from a spirit one.

Once in here there was a forest
Cursed, but still with trees
And later, say, one thousand years,
Bound in time were these.

If people see the spirits
Left here by every one,
Forever freed of the curse
They will be save some.

And now only two remain
These ghostly forms we see
But trapped are we and also they
Until we are set free.
