Through the long night

I await the sun’s light

I have been in some hard times

But I will survive

If I can hold on till the night’s over

The stars are not where they should be

And I don’t know if I am where I should be

I know safety is coming

In a few hours, they will arrive

But the waiting is agonising

Time torments me with spite

But I will hold out

The demons won’t reach me

As long as I hide beneath my cover

The demons won’t reach me

As long as I hide beneath my cover

Nothing shall scare me

Nothing shall harm me

Because I said it won’t, oh no
