An Imprint in Time

One day is all

It takes,

One hour, one minute

Or even a fraction

Of a second

-

It is all we need

In this great

Conspiracy, this

Technicolor

Universe

-

To wake up one

Day, to discover by

Our own device, there

Is nothing behind it,

We created a

Ghost town, a city

Of the dead,

Hollow, cold, icy

Catacombs,

-

Where those who

Were once loved,

For a day, an hour or

Even a fraction

Of a second

Will still live

On and be

Remembered

-

Not for skill,

Talent or wit,

But for making

An imprint in time

-

They were loved

That was all it took
