Clump. Clump. Eyes open. Lights flicker on and off, on and off. Sirens can be heard in the distance. His brow creases, he only closed his eyes for a moment. To the left is a darkened hall, green and blue sparks can faintly be seen from where wires were tore out of the wall. To the right are the flickering white lights. Standing up, he wobbles on unsteady legs. His head hurts, his sight darkens. He closes his eyes just for a second.

When they reopen, everything is back to how it was before he fell asleep. Lights are on and working properly throughout the hall. People, doctors, nurses, patients, are rushing through the hall and going about their business. He turns the corner and once again the hospital is dark. Looking behind, he sees the flickering light barely visible around the corner.

Turning back forward, a young girl now stands before him, holding a stuffed rabbit by its hand. Before he could ask her anything, she said grimly: “Mister, you should not be here, you don't belong with us. But it's too late; there is no escape for you. They are coming for you even as we speak." He twisted around at a noise behind him.

Finding nothing but the flickering light, he turns back to the girl. She and her bunny are gone. He closes his eyes again, trying to figure out where she could have gone so fast. This was a long hall with no doors or windows. When he opens his eyes, the hospital is filled with light and people once more.
