Prologue

Long ago, the only things in the universe were Space and Time.

Space was the lord of all that existed, the creator of life. Time was his mistress, the beautiful guardian of fate.

But even with his mistress, The Lord Creator was lonely in the vast emptiness of constant night. So he made the moon, the light that shone even when it was engulfed by darkness.

However, this is not satisfy him. Even the light shone by the moon could not bring the eternal light to brighten the universe. So he created the sun, and day was born with it.

Then he created the world, the grassy valleys stretching far and wide. The sky came later, separating the land of mortals from gods.

He looked upon his creation with the Fate Spinner, and they both knew that it was not yet complete. Time gave some of her immortal tears, and the great oceans formed. Looking upon it again, they named this new world Kordana.

Yet, something was still not there. Unable to find it after many days of thinking, he threw his fists to the new world in rage. From the force of his blow came the volcanoes, the fire bringers.

Space smiled, finally satisfied. Done with his world, he turned to his mistress, who later bore six daughters….
