She walks with ease.
He looks to me.
She's my disease.
He's all I see.
Her angelic smile.
His devilish grin.
Pick one for a lover -
Well; I'd rather pick the sin.

More attracted to the devil.
Father screams; "Love the angel!"
There's no battle to win.
I know what I want; I know what I need.
I must be with him;
She is not the sin.

This is how the game is played.
This is how the day fades.
This is why my heart breaks.
This is why I feel fake.
I can't help loving him.
I can't help looking away from her.
I'm here out on a limb.
Wicked words and painful blurs.
Leave me by myself for once.
Let me love myself for once.
Let me pick my destiny.

More attracted to the devil.
Father screams; "Love the angel!"
There's no battle to win.
I know what I want; I know what I need.
I must be with him;
She is not the sin.

As much as they want me to be the same.
I cannot live my life in vain.
As much as they want her to win.
I must be with him; for he is the sin.

Author's Note: If you know my work, then you know that this is basically about myself and having to deal with what my family thinks about homosexuality. Having to cope with my father putting down homosexuals, and him not even knowing I am one. My mother, being a lesbian but still upset that I am gay..but at least trying to accept. It's really confusing, and I got inspired to write exactly what I felt about this whole subject by listening to songs and watching the station LoGo. I've written a lot about my homosexuality, and how I hate the fact I can't be accepted. These lyrics sum it up. You can read all my other poems about how I feel, but this is basically what hits home. Thank you for taking your time out to read this.
