If I wasn't alone before

I sure as hell am now

Sitting there on the floor

I ask myself just how

Life could be like this

Seeing past lives is not easy

But remembering the past can hurt

Memories tend to squeeze me

Put bullet holes right through my shirt

staring now at the puddle

forming on the floor

The blood dripping from the hole in me

It's getting hard to see

Dropping to the floor

See a light

behind a door

Try to move but can't

I know I'm leaving

with no one to help

me

stay
