Seeking solace in your silence,

Focus on your gorgeous eyes-never resting on me,

Grace the world with your stare, show me never that you care.

Feel your heartbeat from across the room-

I whisper my sorrows to the moon.

In my mind, the words all form;

From an untrained mouth broken shells come forth;

Old machinery, little used.

Tissue paper soul, rips quietly.

Blood pounds inside my heart, my eyes.

These eyes stare at you, Untouchable.

In fevered dreams,

In my discordant thoughts,

I see us happy; kissing, loving.

I see my soul fill with light.

This light is not to be,

For within myself I am weak,

Weak and cold.

Those arms are not for me.
