Shinobi of the Chosuu

A/n- this is a continuation of the first poem, Shinobi of the Shinsengumi. Please read the first one, before reading this one. Do review, if you find fault with it.

I left the house to the coward

Its time for my other job

Its now my turn to assassinate

And cause more people to sob

I’m supposed to hunt down swordsmen

I know it’s a bad thing to do

But I have no choice

I’ve been taught that way

To help glorify the Choshuu

Blood, hate, terror and spite,

I’ve seen them since I was nine

I’ve been killing people in missions

The last kill was a favorite of mine

She’s been listening on us for ages

And sending information back

She was their best shinobi

But what I had she lacked

I had the hate, the power

She lived on love and hope

She doesn’t deserve to be a shinobi

I wonder if she could cope

---

But what was in the past was in the past

I’ve now got better things to do

As I said, its time to hunt

And I’ll be given more people to pursue

Why must I lead this life

You may wonder

Haven’t I already said?

I’m a shinobi of the Chosuu

I want the Shinsengumi dead.
