Voices

Voices flood my mind and drown me in

Confusion.

I wish to make them stop and step into silence’s

Embrace.

It won’t stop, it only grows, the voices become louder,

Stronger.

I wish to escape but I’m surrounded, they won’t let me

Go.

Please, make it stop, make the screaming and yelling

Stop.

I want to go home, I want to be safe, I want,

Peace.

I sit alone in the silence with voices crowded

Around.

All I can remember is sitting alone, but being beside my
