Inspired to the silver saline that falls daily from your cold, dead eyes.
Act One:
Silver Saline
White stars against
a pitch black sky
fading through the night
leaves beneath
running feet
trampled half til dawn
eyes leak
silver saline
into the velvet darkness
a velvet sky
absorbs the sounds
of a silent sweet release
cold hard ground
falls to meet
a head of cold red hair
silver saline
mixed with
crimson darkness
cold red
and streaks of
warm grey
falling through
layers of black
caresses on bare skin
silver saline
splashes down
rivers on a face
soft lips
trapped
in an eternal kiss
silent screams
echo through
the velvet night
silver saline
mixed with
crimson darkness
cold red
and streaks of
warm grey
silent screams
of eternal agony
no one hears
til too late
half til dawn
a figure lies
prone on the earth
the hard glare
of sunrise
catches on the stars
silver saline
mixed with
crimson darkness
cold red
and streaks of
warm grey
a single drop of
blood and tears
balances on the knife
Act Two:
Crimson Tracks
bright lights
shine down on
an empty stage
a lone figure
sits in the
empty audience
silent sobs
echo through
the theater
solitary sorrow
scrawled against
the wall
a tragedy
performed with
utmost perfection
silver saline
falls to
soft velvet
a bright
white star
fallen into darkness
defeated figure
takes the stage
for the final last performace
a stark black
outline against
the bright white stage
silver saline leaves
crimson tracks
against soft pale skin
imaginary applause
rings through the
empty theater
silver saline leaves
crimson tracks
across my life
Act Three:
Soft Pale Notes
falling softly
against
soft pale skin
silver saline
frozen into
freckles of ice
drops of snow
fall
like rain
the only angels
lay carved
in snow
soft notes
of a sad sad song
drift through the night
the singer
stands cold
in the darkness
soft pale notes
from soft pale lips
tinged blue
generic snowflakes
drift gently
up to trees
notes like leaves
drop softly
into ears
a sad song
sung by
a sad life
soft pale heart
speaks through
soft pale words
silver saline
carves tracks
in unbreakable ice
indigo sunset
compliments
ice blue skin
sliver saline
falls on unmoving
soft pale skin
