Untitled Poem – For The One I Love
Ever the planets did turn,
And the suns burn.
Mountains did rise,
And so did the guise,
That you would never die.
Things will stay their course,
And never show the remorse,
That I will always feel.
A pain that will never heal,
Because I love you.
(This little ditty was written for a novel I wrote about two immortal sisters Osis/ Æþelhild and Ysis who are trying to atone for their sins. This poem is written by the Osis after the man she loves dies. I won't be posting the main novel up, but if you want to read more about these characters, you can read the spin-off I wrote: 'The Immortal of Heort Hall", which is also about the older sister – she goes by Æþelhild in that one – and her life/love with the warrior Beowulf.)
