Broke
(n. to be broken into separate pieces suddenly or violently; smashed.)
She didn't need to break it
(it fell apart in her hand),
she didn't need to throw it
(it fell through her fingers like sand).
She spent so long on it
(it almost was her greatest work),
she worked so hard on it
(it almost drove her berserk).
But then she realised what she did,
so she picked it up piece by piece and
fixed it.
She tried her best to patch it
(it was hard to put together),
she wouldn't give up on it
(it was her main matter).
But then she realised she a missing bit,
so she picked it up piece by piece and
broke it.
(She had lost it.)
A/N: I don’t think this was very well-written, but it’s what I feel like right now.
