Dirty faces behold laughter

Clean faces behold a tear

Dirty hands have known the future

Clean hands have known fear

Wash away the dirt

Clean away the hopes

So that we don’t have to fall

Scared of that hole, that might just come

The future so unclear

Because of the lies we fill ourselves
