If I had wings,
as an angel does,
always would I soar
in the heavens above.
I would watch the unknown
and finally be unseen by all.
As a star lost in the sky,
I would be mysterious ever more.
to shine my eerie radiance
for those who stopped and gazed.
Like the cool breeze I would be,
