I wake up here imagining in some way you're still beside me

Still believing that it's possible you could be

Silence surrounds me as I look to find

Why your voice is entering my mind

-

Still I make believe

That you could never leave

Never minding that you're dead

It's all that can get me to leave this bed

-

I'm living without you now & emotions are still spinning

Still I'm incapable of comprehending

Still being alive when I'm told you're not is a possibility

That somehow I can't even pretend to see

-

Still I make believe

That you could never leave

Never minding that you're dead

It's all that can get me to leave this bed

-

I feel the cold wind as it blows

As it leaks through my large windows

And I can't help but wonder about you

Wondering if you're not there too
