Dreams

I sit on a chair.

When I notice familiar brown hair.

He walks up and says “Hello.”

“Your siblings aren’t here” I say. “I don’t know where they go.”

“Actually, I’m here to talk to you.” He says.

“Really?” I say with a quick turn of my head.

He says “I’ve got something really important to say”

“Promise you wont make fun of me ‘kay?”

I nod and the promise I affirm.

He then looks around every corner and turn.

And then he says “I’ve come to a realization!”

“This news could quickly grip the nation!”

I laugh and he grins a cocky little smile.

“Alright, serious time, this might take awhile.”

“I’ve realized this very day,”

“I have a crush on a girl whose name I will soon say.”

“I have a crush on you.” He squeaks.

I grip onto every word he speaks.

But before I can tell him I feel the same way,

My alarm clock rings, making me greet the day.
