All I want to do,

Is to be alone with you.

‘Cause I can only think,

Of long gone yesterday.

Oh, those bittersweet memories,

Flooding out of Heaven’s Gate,

Washing and cleansing me,

But it leaves debris of pain.

I remember the sun’s warmth,

Embracing the summer meadows.

I still remember a saccharine kiss,

Deep in the tree grove shadows.

I remember gales of laughter,

Smiles so sweet and full of bliss.

The warm embrace of a lover surrounds me,

The taste of cherries on your lips.

I can see you in my mind’s eye,

Your eyes, such a beautiful shade of blue.

Every time the wind caresses your mane so black,

My heart feels like sighing and shattering in two.

Do you still remember?

Those long lost days of May?

I can only think of sweet memories,

Of long gone yesterday.
