Melting

Perhaps I am made of ice, Monsieur.

But what is so horrible about that?

You may try to wound me,

But I shall only split in two.

You may try to hurt me,

But I have turned numb.

You may try to burn me,

But the flame shall only go out.

-

But if you touch me, I will cry.

Sort of but not really from the fairy tale The Snow Queen -- the part when the boy is frozen and the girl cries on him and he comes back to life -- it just made me think of it. So I guess The Snow Queen "inspired" it. (Again, still can't make it do stanzas. Curse you, Document Manager!)
