Metaphor of the Sea

The sea is a being, gentle and strong
The waves are a line of horses, rearing and kicking
The sand is a grave, for all those who die on the water
You come with me
I’ll go with you
We’ll paddle in the surf
Together and alone amidst being, horses, and graves
