Why do you insist on looking at me as if I’m not a human

With feelings and emotions, one who loves and wishes

To be loved?

Am I so different that you must stare at me and giggle at

The least thing I do that isn’t perfectly in step with your

Perfect balance?

I ask you why and you stare at me even more as if I had a

Third head or as if I was not from this world, am I really

That different?

Oh you know nothing of me, this I can say for a fact because

You do not allow yourself to know the people who you mock

Now do you?

How foolish you can be, how foolish I can be, to be fair to all,

You judge, I judge, we all judge but some keep it personal while

Others must blab.

Oh, do not worry, its not as if I will reek revenge on you, the one

Who mocks, the one who stares, the one who wishes me to make

Mistakes for a laugh.

I only wish to ask the question, for knowledge of what greater power

Gave you to permission to believe you know all there is to be known

About me and mine.

How foolish the world can be when people such as you think they can

Rule, that they are above the others, that the common man is nothing more

Than a worm.

But why should I worry about that, its only temporary isn’t it? I don’t have

To answer to you, I only have to live and love and grow and care, for the only

Judge I should care about is God.

Leave me then to my own devices and let me live my life the way I know is right,

Spare me the stupidity of the modern world with its care of clothing and style,

I know what I must do.

Live, love, laugh, care, grow, nurture, learn, accept, patience, that all I have to do,

Where as you burden yourself with the things that are useless, I know at times I am

The same as you.

I am not perfect, no one but the Lamb is perfect, but I can only hope to one day

Reach the best that I can and in the end answer for the things I have done, so that

I may reach true life.
