I've been through so many schools,

I must have missed the lesson

where they taught us how to make friends

Who would have thought state education

could be so (in)valuable?

The playground taught me how to be numb

(we played best friends but I didn't have one)

and for a while I almost belonged

but I was torn from the

only place I could call home

and thrown into this hell
