Nine years ago I played a game called Final Fantasy 7, at one point it made me cry. I've tried to write about that part of the story here, I think it's the most tragic and emotionaly blinding game I ever played.

Cloud Strife – the end of innocence

--

A moment of refined guilt, slashed with rancorous despair,

her eyes, aquamarine blue and ever vital do begin to glaze,

his legs feel like water as he runs to her,

the

Scarlet pattern of viscous fluid spreads like

warm butter across her flower maiden's dress.

Cradled in his arms, lucidity fades like the final note of a sonnet;

she triples and swirls as his eyes flood themselves with tears

of agony.

Rage.

A molten core of pure wrath is left to smoulder as her skin begins to cool, and

her eyes,

now closed with no goodbye's shall never shine again.

-----

His body tingles all over as he releases her cadaver and stands.

Head down, thoughts a storm, covered in the blood of the woman he loves,

never did he tell her,

never will she know.

In his mouth his teeth are clenched

In his chest his heart is dead

In his eyes his soul shall burn for now and ever more.

-----
