"Love"-

Did I ever tell you a story,
About two people I once knew?
They got caught in a storm one day,
Not too many years ago.

And the rain came pouring down,
And the thunder crashed somewhere,
And their souls were suddenly joined,
By the lightening that struck.

The earth beneath their feet,
Shook with such a force,
The ground below them cracked,
And the Moon fell from the sky.

And the storm was just so vicious,
And the rain just so heavy,
And the Goddess of the storm smiled through the water,
Satisfied her heart still beat.

And those two people that I knew,
The sang a song in the storm,
And they felt a something dawn,
And the Sun gleamed in their eyes.

And they looked at one another,
And decided the storm needed a name,
"We'll call it 'love'," they said,
And so life began.

Comments: It's 2006 and we're supposedly an advanced people. But today we call a storm by an alphabetical name and fear it, and somewhere, Aphrodite's heart is breaking and ceasing to beat.
