The grotesque cavity between

the widening well of flesh

is but a migratory grace

stemming from some

brazen prowess.

Speckled with obscenity,

a pouch of capital

and lowercase letters,

safe from exposure,

un-throated and

well kept.

Bridged and boarded

from the ribcage of existence

and welcoming admirable fever

with each secret grin.

Yet, through all this,

misinformed of death’s

steady breath

and respective

ceasing clench.

Oh, the sweetness tucked away

in the jittery flow of shrill notes,

beating a beautiful pattern

onto the foul trench,

already so warped and

pale-soaked.
