When you hold something in for much too long,

It becomes a nightmare much too wrong,

and honey, you're prince charming's never comin'

-

I hate to be the one to tell,

but the statue of promise between you fell

and your memories have become your own jail

-

But did you really expect me to watch you fight,

As I stayed safely in the light?

'Cause best friends forever to me don't mean nothing

-

I'll be your sheild, your date, your support,

Even when another boy comes along to build you a fort,

cos I found out it can be as easily burned as the former

-

I'll listen to the songs, the tales,

and I'll be a shoulder to cry on when it fails,

cos I'll understand why you must do it again.

dedicated to all my friends, and i (grudgingly) owe the inspiration to all the guys they've ever liked. note to them: but that still doesn't mean you're redeemed in my eyes, you bloody buttscratchers!

going on now...

tell me if you think it's purtyful! i wanna see if I should give it to my friend or not.
