Fifteen-year-old Jayda-Marie sat on her antique bed. With her pen and paper in hand, she wrote a not to her brother and adoptive parents. When Jayda and her brother were seven years old, they were adopted by the Seymores and their daughters Pearle and Marigold. Jayda and Jacob refused to be parted for they now only had each other. Pearle and Marigold were six and nine years older than Jayda and Jacob. Jayda wrote, 'Dear Debbie, Mark, and Jake,' suddenly, she erased it. She started writing again.
"My dear brother Jake,
There have been some things I haven't told you since Daddy got murdered. Well, actually, since Mummy died. You see, Jake, Mum never actually died. I can't tell you much about my resources or information I have, but I found out that Mum has been in Intensive Care somewhere across London because of her amnesia and how badly she was hurt. Apparently, the bullet hit a rib bone, smashing it against her lung and almost completely damaging the lung.
I am telling you this because after much thought, I have decided to go in search of our mother and bring her back into our lives. Wish me luck and please tell Debbie and Mark for their wonderful hospitality and all the kind treatment they have given me over the past eight years.
Much Love,
Jayda-Marie"
