Dark Angel

There is a girl, a Dark Angel
She is of hatred, despair, and gloom
Every night I meet her,
How wickedly beautiful she seems

Her eyes, both pools of deep
glistening coffee brown,
Her arms are covered in scars,
self-inflicted scars, signs of her life,
which show she isn't properly
loved or admired at the least

Yet she shows no sorrow only anger,
She speaks word dripping scorn and disdain,
yet her eyes glow of a warmth I don't know

She threatens me, but I know she cares
because under her spiky, icon-clad shell
she secretly loves or at least cares for me

She's dying, dying deep in her scarred
heart, from those who laugh at her.
Those who tease her beyond the point
Inside, he who she loves is ripping
her heart out.
She's screaming, but no one hears, or is it
that no on cares?

One day, she will fall to her knees,
and that beautiful, long, black, cascade
of hair will envelope her as she prays
her last words of forgiveness before she
lies dead

So, before you hurt her, know
this, you are killing a poor, scarred,
Angel, and one day, it'll come back
to you, remember that

note: one of my friends wrote this about me and i like it even though in some ways it’s misunderstanding. i want to know what you think (my friend doesn’t know i posted this), so please leave a review.
