If I, perchance, could feel your skin on mine,
Or someday have you hold me to your breast,
If love in your deep eyes of brown would shine,
Then I will know I've given you my best.

Should you forever hold onto my hand
And keep me by your side till we be dead
I would not drift away from you like sand,
But give to you my heart and soul instead.

Hold on to me and never let me go
My very life is held in your embrace.
If ever I can hold you in my arms,
Your life within my love will be encased.

Together you and I shall live this life.
Together, you and I, for all of time.

A/N: Supposed to be a sonnet. . .
Meets the majority of the rules. ALL the rules for the general description, just not
one of the set rhyme schemes... Oh well.
What do you think...?
