So lets sit around
Lets wait for life to happen
Wait for the next sun to rise
This night sky is so grand.

This one-dollar pen
Will write what I tell it
Soon though,
It will all be irrelevant.

Turn off those lights
It’s killing the mood
Watch the rain fall
They say it’s beautiful.

So lets sit and talk,
Of life,
How
We still wait for it to happen.

The songs we missed
The chances we never took.
Bring out the photographs,
We'll watch old tapes.

Then lets sit around
Wait for the next sun to rise
If we wait long enough
It'll all be irrelevant.
