Epilogue

The snow was bloody cold as it was shoved down the back of his jacket and Jay yelped into the passionate kiss he’d been sharing with his partner. The sneaky bastard had deliberately latched onto his lips in order to pull the dirty trick.

“Right that’s it!” Jay scooped Ali up with ease, no sign of his injury from being shot months before and Ali giggled in triumph.

Well, he giggled until he was thrown into the snow bank beside the chalet and the freezing cold substance that he’d teased Jay with obstructed his mouth. Jay doubled up with laughter along with Jared and Seb and couldn’t help but think Ali looked incredibly sweet as his head surfaced from the very deep snow.

“I hate you,” Ali sniffed, rubbing his bright red nose sullenly and Jared shoved Jay forward so he fell into the snow bank with his husband.

“Say it and you’re not getting any tonight,” Jay growled when he saw the expression on Ali’s face as the brunette stared down at him.

He hadn’t realised that the snow was that deep actually but even standing Ali could barely see over the top of the snow.

“Hmm?” Ali nuzzled a cold nose into Jay’s neck when he stood, “What makes you think you’d be able to hold out, Mr Boston?”

Jay rolled his eyes when he felt Ali rub his hip against his groin and he smirked, took advantage of the situation, and dumped a huge handful of snow down the back of Ali’s jacket. Revenge was sweet.

“Oh you bastard!” Ali shrieked and shoved him over with a scowl, which would have been convincing if it weren’t for the fact that Ali’s eyes sparkled with happiness.

“But I’m your bastard,” Jay told him and Ali’s scowl melted into a sappy expression as Jay stood again and started to kiss his neck, “Always yours.”

“Do you want to go inside?” Ali murmured, enjoying the gentle caresses too much to stay standing in a massive pit of snow and Jay chuckled.

“When we can figure out how to get out of here,” Jay replied between kisses and Ali closed his eyes as Jay nipped at the point that made him squirm, he’d already had enough hassle from Jared about the love bite there but when Jay started to suck on the same point he couldn’t do anything but slump against his lover.

Jay was thankful Richard hadn’t been insane enough to try to or succeed in raping Alastair, because he knew that it would have destroyed Ali completely.

“Stop thinking,” Ali growled Jay rolled his eyes.

As it was his husband had only had superficial injuries that healed quickly whereas he’d had six months of struggling with his own injury.

“What did I just say?” Ali grumbled and Jay lifted him up, waited for Ali’s legs to automatically wrap round his middle, and kissed him possessively.

Fuck the snow, if he wanted Ali he was going to have Ali, who cared where they were.

-

Seb and Jared were fighting over the last bag of crisps when Ali finished in the shower and he slipped onto the sofa, spreading himself on Jay and resting his head on his chest. He’d picked up that habit after Jay’s three-month recovery period where he was in and out of hospital because of complications and advancements on his injury from the attempted assassination. He liked to hear Jay’s heart beating.

“Ali?”

“Hmm?” the brunette turned his silver gaze to Jared, who was watching him curiously and Ali gave his friend a smile to tell him he was alright, just in a thoughtful mood instead of the typical playful nature.

They all worried now if he went quiet, always checked if he was alright. He’d been a mess after finally getting home following the Richard saga, hating to be left alone and paranoid if he had to answer the phone. Depression had hit and although it was never as bad as Jared’s, his family was still tentative around him.

"Okay?"

"Yeah."

“What time is our flight?” Seb yawned, pulling the redhead against him and kissing his neck, dark eyes going to Jay.

“Six tomorrow night,” he replied, idly tracing his fingers along Ali’s spine with a lazy smile at his husband.

They’d been in the chalet Ali’s mother gave them as a wedding present for just over a month. Seb had finished school and become Jared’s temporary PA while Ryan onlydealt with just the legal side of things. He was going to be travelling with him to all the different film sets and everyone was eager to see him sabotage anyone who tried to lay their hands on his boyfriend. Seb had become one of them, he’d withdrawn after a severe argument with Nick and then even more so when the blonde disappeared off to another continent without saying goodbye. Cole hadn’t stopped moping while Riley and Sophia both bitched about the blonde and how selfish he was. Jared seemed to be neutral, not overly bothered but it was easy to see that he wanted Nick to get in touch.

“Do you have everything you need for Ohio?” the dark haired boy queried yhey all nodded as Jared started wriggling in his lap.

“I heard from Ryan today,” Jared spoke up, breathless from a searing kiss from Seb.

“How is he?” Jay asked for Ali, the brunette’s face was hidden in the crook of his neck and any words he said wouldn’t be heard.

“He eloped.”

“He what?” Ali sat up and gawped.

“He eloped,” Jared repeated, amused, “He and that police woman, Krista, I think her name was, went to some tiny little registry office and got married.”

“Oh my god.”

“He’s going to meet Krista’s family in Canada tomorrow and wanted you to know but he had to leave a message because you were in the shower.”

“Oh My God.”

“You said that already.”

“My brother got married without telling me,” Ali’s tone was still full of disbelief, “Why?”

“My money is on Krista being knocked up,” Jay joked and his laughter died the moment Jared smirked.

“Oh my god.”

“Shut up Ali,” Jared laughed and suddenly stiffened in Seb’s lap, biting his lip hard and shooting Seb an alarmed look.

Seb just grinned lazily and started to kiss his neck while continuing to do whatever it was that had shocked Jared. It wasn’t long before Jared was struggling to keep a straight face.

“Oh get a room,” Ali muttered and Seb arched an eyebrow before doing something that made Jared moan and squirm, “I mean it!”

Jay watched the two stumble up the stairs to their room, hands all over each other, and turned to Ali, worried at what was going to happen next. They were going back to finish filming the sequel to Crazy Dirty and it held a lot of memories for Ali.

-

So how does it feel to be back in the spotlight?” Leon asked with a wide smile and Jay felt Ali’s hand tighten in his.

No different than before actually,” the brunette grinned, “Though it was nice to have privacy for a while.”

What’s next on the cards now that you’ve finished the sequel to Crazy Dirty?” Leon changed the subject at the warning look from Ryan in the wings and Jay smirked when he saw his brother in law’s glower, it hadn’t been that long ago that he’d been on the receiving end if that look.

I think I’m starting something called Gravity,” Ali shrugged, “I tend to let Ryan and Jay deal with the schedule, gives me more time to skive off with Jared.”

And spend as much money as possible,” Jay muttered and Ali gave him a sweet smile.

You love me,” the brunette told him even more sweetly and as Jay watched Jared and Seb pretend to retch from beside Ryan in the wings, he rolled his eyes.

You know I do,” he murmured and Ali blushed when the crowd gave a collective ‘Aww.’

And Jay, rumour has it you’ve been given a part in some English thriller,” Leon turned to the now blonde Jay and he nodded, “Can you give us any details?”

It’s called Hidden and I basically play the bad guy. Apparently the director decided that as lots of American films have English people as bad guys then they needed an American for theirs. I play some prodigal genius that wants to take over the world and get stopped by some jaded ex-secret agent. I get to kill a few women though so it’s all good.”

You’re so disturbing sometimes Jay,” Ali sniffed and Leon laughed along with the crowd.

The interview continued, questions jumping between the three of them until the subject of Ali’s disappearance was unavoidable and Jay was stunned when his lover calmly informed everyone on live prime time television what he’d been through and about his recovery. Leon was visibly sympathetic but his eyes danced with glory that he’d been the first interviewer since it had happened and therefore the first to get the details.

Richard had been sentenced tosixty years in prison on charges of kidnap and imprisonment, two accounts of attempted murder, possession of an illegal substance – the one he used to knock Ali out – and the murder of his brother, sister in law and best friend. The trial hadn’t been anything monumental, the psycho had pleaded innocent then gone against his lawyers instructions and admitted to everything, saying that he’d done it because he loved Ali. A psychiatric examination told the court that he was completely sane, despite his delusions, so he’d ended up going to a standard prison and not one for head cases.

Jay had heard that he was suffered like hell in prison, most of the inmates knowing the story from the newspapers and lashing out at him because he was gay and a bit screwed in the head.

He was constantly wary of how Ali would react after telling anyone about what he’d been through but after the television interview it seemed it was for nothing.

“Stop worrying,” the brunette scolded, undoing his seatbelt, “Or I’ll make you.”

Jared snorted from the front of the car and Seb sniggered when he saw Ali starting to slip down his body.

Christmas was three days away and they were going to Zen’s to celebrate with Jared as they had the year before. Jon was going to arrive on Christmas Eve after a six-month stay with Edward. The singer was very tight lipped about why he was there but it was clear he wasn’t too unhappy about the situation despite not seeing his brothers. They were all looking forward to seeing Ryan and Krista though. Ali and Rhiannon both desperate to know whether the baby was a boy or a girl and when it was due.

“You’re never going to be able to stop me worrying,” Jay huffed, shifting to get comfortable as Ali seemed to snuggle into his side to do the same, “It’s what I do when you’re involved.”

“Hmm, but I bet you don’t worry when I do this…”

Jay’s eyes shot open as a warm mouth closed over his cock and he heard Ali giggle at his gasp. His lover always knew how to throw him off balance.

A/N: And that’s it. All done. Personally I actually think this one is better than the first one (mainly because I like Ali and Jay so much) so I hope it lived up to Welcome To My Life. Thank you to everyone that reviewed me, and those who read but didn’t review. Glad you all enjoyed.

Collar De Espinas – Wow, thanks, I quite liked it too. I agree though, it is wrong to keep the two apart for some reason; they shouldn’t be separated (Kicks whoever suggested plot in the first place…ouch.) Yeah, it’s all over now so we’ll (and when I say that I really mean I) need to get a move on and start of the next one. Thanks for sticking with another one of my stories.

A Day Late – Happy to make your day and I’m glad you liked the chapter. Thanks for all your lovely reviews.

Ghostmoon Dancer – Yup, reunion there. Happy it makes you happy that they’re now happy (eck!)

Uggabugga – I’m flattered you like the story so much. Don’t worry there’s planning for another story and I’ve even started thinking about a possible Nick story (because I love him so). I won’t disappear. Thanks for reading a reviewing.

Mcdgoddess – I’m a needed distraction (I like that). Thanks for all the reviews.

TricksterGoddess – Sorry if it’s sometimes hard to follow, I tend to just write what goes through my head with very little planning and sometimes I even manage to confuse myself. I’m pleased you liked it though.

Emerald Raven – Stick men rule. Come to think of it I have pictures of some of my charries around somewhere that I did way back when. I should find them. Thank you for reading and keeping up with another of my stories, it’s nice knowing the sequel was good enough to stick by and read because usually sequels suck big time.

Nikerym ‘Ksherea – I only updated quickly because I already had the chapters written and I was just finding the time to edit them. I always try to keep things as realistic as possible and I’m relieved that you think I manage. Ali’s dad helped because of Jon, he’s one of those crappy parents that like to play favourites with their children and he just wanted to get back in Jon’s good books. Thank you for your reviews.
