Hand me my wonder bread sandwich;

In your paisley sundress your smile is angelic.

Drive me to school in the morning.

Pick me up later, after eighth period ends.

Where are you going today mom?

Don’t leave me again, don’t leave

Me to question my life again.

Don’t leave me to wallow in sorrow and doubt.

Would you please put on your sandals?

We’ll take a long walk to the lake and make daddy jealous.

Mom, please just don’t leave me.

Don’t leave me to question your love for me.

Don’t leave me to wonder if ever I’ll see you again.

Mommy, please make me happy.

Your presence alone makes me happy.
