dancing seasons

they stopped each other with a glance,
winter yelling
‘your time is up’
and summer shook her longgoldenhair
and stuck out her tongue,
‘catch me if you can’

and winter ran (danced) after her
as summer sprinted (twirled) away
(making the leaves swirl as she pasted them)
and winter s c r a t c h e d her
(he held her in her arms)
while summer screamedandyelled
(while she said ‘I love you’)
and winter held a knife at summer’s chest
(he told her he thought she was beautiful)
and just like that winter killed summer,
(he kissed her on the lips)
and chased her away.
(and pushed her gently whispering ‘until next time my darling’)

(and they dance their deadly dance every year, in the few moments they have together)

A/N- ok, i'd love some contructive criticism, especcially on the last few lines. I wasn't sure how to end it. Anyway... let me know what you think!
