we can't help it
the theory's good
but only in theory
the reality we practice

those who cross the line
crossing their hearts
hoping to crucify
theistic heretics
who compromise beliefs
but not lives
because there's only
One True Way
after all
convert the heathens
from Hells to Heavens
never lasting
but great
for a joke or two.

it's all nonsense

representative
of a single moment
unlike any others
before or behind
or subsequent to
and freely flying
in one
and out the other
day.
