Everything is changing,

But our feelings stay the same,

There are things we say,

But don't really mean.

You hurt me,

And I hurt you.

The feelings inside,

All mixed up and mangled.

I love you as much,

As I ever have before.

Everything is different,

Yet so much the same.

I'm lost in confusion

Of everything around me.

Did you change?

Did I?

I'm in love with you,

But sometimes it's hard.

Should it be easy?

This is my living confusion.
