The world’s on LSD.

I chase butterflies,

Metaphorically.

For every word,

Ten more come back to haunt me.

Ghostly ideals and poetic nonsense fills my brain,

So I don’t have room for people.

My hand overflows with past that isn’t mine,

My heart’s made of numbers.

I try to make logic my own,

I need my own world.

Gravity can’t stop my mind from floating,

My thoughts return to the clouds.

This day is made for sinners,

I want to wish my dreams away.

The worlds’ on LSD.

The world’s on LSD.

Make mine two shots,

I want to escape.

Stage a fake,

I want to yell and scream.

The world’s on LSD.

The world’s on LSD.

You can’t make love and war,

But that’s what we’re trying to do.

The world’s on LSD.

Everybody’s been good to me,

But the world’s on LSD.
