Episode 8

United Against Darkness

The police squad had made it back from their scouting mission.

“Sounds like you boys had an interesting trip,” the police chief said.

“You don't know the half of it, sir,” said one of the officers. “I tripped over a walking, talking table!”

“Heh, yeah,” another chuckled. “That was pretty funny.”

Derek crossed his arms in amusement. “What're the odds? I did the exact same thing when I was there.”

“We didn't really get a good look around the base,” the third officer said, “but considering how easy it was to get in and how few creatures appeared to be wandering throughout, I'd say it'd be easy to take it for ourselves and bring the monsters in for questioning...or dissection...or whatever you want done with them.”

“We don't want to let our guards down just because it seemed easy to infiltrate,” the chief said. “We're going to put together a decent-sized strike force and take the base. I'll get things set up.”

After the meeting ended, Derek and Nate casually walked down the hall.

“Things really are starting to heat up, aren't they?” Nate said. “Who would've thought you of all people would be the one to get the ball rolling with the monster hunt?”

“Can't say I would've,” Derek said. “It is pretty cool, though. I'm hoping when all is said and done I'll get a big fat reward for everything I've done, not to mention fame and fortune. Can you say 'Nobel Peace Prize?'”

---

Rob had worked hard with Chip to control his Guardian power, and the newbie fighter seemed to learn fast. They hadn't fought any other Creturians, but a few friendly sparring matches helped Chip gain an understanding of how his powers worked and how he could utilize them effectively. And when they weren't sparring, Rob tried to encourage Chip with his personal success stories. His slightly-skewed success stories.

“And then I told him, 'Not in my town ya don't,'” Rob recounted with pride--and vivid body language. “That monster didn't know what he was up against.”

Chip's eyes grew wide. “Sweet. So then what'd you do?”

Rob's way of walking seemed to go from a small stroll to a high-minded strut. “Well, he shot off his electricity attack at me, and with a simple wave of my hand, I deflected it back at him, knocking him off the building and into a garbage can.”

“Nice!”

“Yeah, I've taken down more of those monsters than I can count. Once you get the hang of things, it's pretty fun. Did I ever tell you about the time I took down five monsters at once?”

“Five??”

“Yup. It happened like this--”

Rob stopped talking as he saw a familiar face heading up the street towards them. “Oh snap, it's Tami. Quick, hide your Guardian band.”

Chip followed Rob's lead and stuffed his Guardian band in his pocket, though he had no idea why it would matter to Tami.

She stopped in front of them and smiled. “Hey, boys, what's new?”

“Tami, how nice to see you!” Rob blurted, trying hard not to sound suspicious. “Notta lotta. Just hanging out with my bro Chip. Nothing out of the ordinary here.”

Tami looked at him oddly, then responded. “Yeah, that's nice. Having an eventful summer so far?”

“Oh, you know, the usual. Sleeping in 'til noon, vegging out in front of the TV for extended periods of time. That's summer for ya. Um, how about you?”

Tami looked away uneasily, then turned back. “Oh, not much different. Hanging out with friends, doing the ol' girl thing. Nothing particularly interesting.”

Rob glanced down at her arm. She was wearing her Guardian band. Good. Better to get attacked and have her powers on hand than to get attacked and be helpless. “I, uh, like that bracelet you're wearing.”

Chip gasped as he set eyes on it. “Brace--?”

It looked like Rob forgot to fill Chip in on a few important details. There'd be time for that later. He stepped on Chip's foot, and he yelped.

“Oh, uh, thank you,” Tami replied. “I got it for quite a bargain. I just never get tired of wearing it.”

Rob chuckled. “I can only imagine.”

Feeling awkward, both parties fell silent.

“Well, anyway, it was good to see you!” Tami said finally.

“Yeah, uh, same here!” said Rob.

Tami began to walk off. “Enjoy the rest of your summer, boys. I'll probably see you around.”

“Oh, I wouldn't doubt it. See ya.”

After she was out of sight, Chip whispered in Rob's ear excitedly: “Did you see what I just saw?”

“Yeah, um, Chip, there's still some stuff I have to tell you...”

Tami glanced back up the street at Rob and Chip and breathed a sigh of relief.

---

“The time has come,” the master said solemnly.

Trey pumped his fist. “All right! This is the moment I've been waiting for!” He had no idea what his master was talking about.

Troy didn't share his brother's enthusiasm, looking confused. “Yeah. Uh...time for what now?”

“Yesterday Armorostel and Diamondos reported that another one of my soldiers was taken down,” the master said, “and by those insufferable girls, no less. I've lost over a dozen soldiers, and to what? Powerful warriors? Nothing but a group of...human teenagers!”

“But we're human teenagers,” Troy said.

“There's a big difference between trained warriors and punk kids who just picked up their powers off the street.”

“I dunno,” Trey said. “Sometimes I think teenagers can be more powerful than Creturian soldiers, especially teenage girls when--”

“It's quite an interesting development, to say the least,” the master interrupted. “For weeks I've been curious just what kind of power these kids could possibly possess. And now I think I want to see for myself.”

“They're pretty tough, boss,” Troy said.

“Do you really think you can take them all on by yourself?” Trey asked.

The darkness surrounding the master seemed to grow even darker. “You doubt my power?” he snarled through gritted teeth. With a roar, he shot a powerful black beam out of his hand. The beam tore through wall after wall of the fortress. When the smoke cleared, a series of big gaping holes led all the way to the outside.

Trey and Troy shook their heads quickly.

“N-N-No sir!”

“Whatever were we thinking?”

“No force on this puny planet has the power to stand up to my might,” the master said. “Try as they might, the Dimensional Guardians will pay dearly for the losses I've suffered. They'll pay dearly, indeed.”

---

“Guardian Punch!”

Wyn's attack sailed past a floating puddle of purple goop. “Nice shot,” the goop commented.

Wyn growled. “The next one won't miss.” He had been minding his own business when he was almost gassed by an obnoxious—and noxious—pile of poisonous glop called Mukki. The Creturian was small and fast, not to mention able to float, and it led him on a wild chase from the city below to the rooftops above.

“This won't miss, either. Poison Blast!” A cloud of thick green gas poured out of Mukki's mouth. Wyn covered his mouth and nose to avoid breathing in the poison. He leaped high out of the smog and took in a lungful of clean air as he closed in on Mukki.

“Hey, you can't do that! Sludge Bomber!” Mukki swung one of his oozy arm-like appendages, and a blob of slime flew at Wyn. It splattered on Wyn's face, seemingly moving about on its own as it spread across his eyes, impairing his vision. Mukki oozed closer to his distracted opponent. “Got'cha now!”

“Not if you give away your position, you don't,” Wyn said calmly. “Guardian Punch!”

And with one mighty blast, Wyn took out his enemy. He landed back on the building top and struggled to rip the sludge from his face. “Gah. That little puddle thing was a breeze to take care of, but he sure left his mark.”

“Another spectacular victory.”

Wyn turned to see Trey and Troy standing atop a water tank. “What're you two doing here?” he asked.

Trey smiled.“The usual, causing pain and misery.”

“We've come to issue a challenge,” Troy said.

“A challenge? You two really want to fight me again?”

“Meet us at the edge of the forest in one hour. We have a score to settle.”

“Didn't we go through this before?”

“Trust us, things won't be the same as last time,” Trey said. “You can count on it.”

“We'd love to stay and chat, but we have more business to attend to. Smell ya later!”

Wyn pondered over their message as they ran off to spread it further.

---

At Chip's house, Rob recounted every last detail that he hadn't told his friend about the Guardian powers.

“Brittany and Tami, huh?” Chip shook his head. “Wow. Those are the last people I would expect to have Guardian powers.”

“Yeah, talk about crazy,” Rob said.

“And you're pretty much stuck in the middle of everything.”

Rob shrugged. “It's definitely stressful, but at the same time...I dunno, I kinda like it.”

“Hello, boys!”

Rob stood up defensively as he recognized the two boys standing in the middle of the road in front of them. “Trey! Troy!”

“Those are the two other Guardians you told me about?” Chip asked.

Trey pointed a finger at him. “And you must be that guy Cymian went after a few days ago.” He elbowed his brother. “Hey, Troy, get a load of the dork.”

“Heh. Hey, it's summer, dork boy,” Troy snickered. “Shouldn't you be at computer camp or something?”

“Ooh, you burned him,” Trey said.

Rob groaned. “Wow, and people call me immature. What do you want this time, guys? Another beatdown?”

“The only ones getting beat down today are you and your little Guardian friends,” Trey said. “Say, at the edge of the forest in one hour?”

“Haven't we gone through this already?”

“Yeah, yeah, we've heard this before,” Troy said. “Just meet us, okay?”

“We'll be waiting,” Trey said ominously. “We'll all be waiting.”

“Huh. I wonder what they meant by that,” Rob thought out loud as Trey and Troy took off.

“What do you think, Rob?” Chip asked. “Should we do it?”

Rob put one hand on his hip. “I dunno. As dumb as they are, they are pretty tough...I guess there's really no avoiding it.”

The next stop on Trey and Troy's message route was Brittany and Tami's apartment complex. To speed things up, they decided to split up and talk to the girls seperately.

Trey knocked on Tami's door. Tami opened it, shrieked at the sight of him, and slammed the door in his face. “Hey, that's rude!” he yelled. “I knew I should've brought the sleeper gun with me.”

Her heart racing, Tami leaned in towards the door as Trey yelled at her. “Hey! What'd you do that for?”

Tami stayed silent, then called back to him: “Because I don't like you!”

“I just want to talk to you!”

“Then talk. I'm listening.”

“We have a challenge for you!”

“A challenge? What kind of challenge?”

“You'll find out! Meet me and my brother at the edge of the forest in one hour, and bring your--” He noticed others outside the building staring at him. “Bring your...you-know-what with you!”

“My what??”

“You know what! Your 'special thing!'”

“Oh! Okay. Go away now, please.”

“Okay! Don't be late!” He started walking away, then turned back towards the door. “'Cuz that's rude, too!”

Troy walked up to him a few moments later with a huge smile plastered on his face. “You know, that black-haired girl is so polite and nice, even to her enemies. The world would be a better place if we had more people like her.”

Trey smacked him in the back of the head.

---

Back at Police HQ, the entire police force was gathered together once again. The police chief stood at a podium in front of them. “Men, after weeks of being under attack by these strange creatures, we're now finally ready to take the fight to them,” he said. “Our scouting force has informed me that the monsters' base, while well-hidden, is easily penetrable with little resistance. Still, we're being on guard, knowing full well the destructive powers the monsters possess. We're taking all of the precautions we can. Now, please turn your attention to Captain Skylark, who will be the one in charge of this mission. Captain Skylark, you have our attention.”

The chief stepped aside as the captain took the platform. “Thank you, sir. First of all, let me take the opportunity to say how proud I am to be working with such a fine group. Your self-sacrificing attitudes are most commendable. As you all well know, this mission is of the utmost importance. One wrong move, and there's no telling the kind of retaliation our fair city may suffer by these creatures. Failure is not an option. We must nip this problem in the bud before it has time to grow. We have the finest technology given us to succeed in taking the enemy base. Now, please listen closely as I outline our plan of attack...”

---

One hour passed, and Rob and Chip made it to where they were supposed to meet Trey and Troy. But it seemed only Trey was there.

“Well, Tweedle-Dee is here,” Rob said to Chip loud enough that Trey could hear. “Where's Tweedle-Dum?”

Trey shot him a dirty look. “Har har. He's escorting another more of our guests to the battlefield. Care to join them?”

Rob grinned, but kept his eyes on the boy. “Don't mind if we do. After you.”

They continued walking until they made it to a strange forest clearing with a lone crag sticking out from the ground. Troy stood in front of it as if he had been waiting for a while.

“Well, here we are,” Trey announced.

“Thanks for joining us,” Troy said.

“Charmed,” Rob said. “Now, about that butt-kicking...”

“You??”

Rob and Chip turned to see Wyn leaning casually against a tree near them.

“Hey, Wyn. You got invited to the party too, huh? Looks like they're itching for a major beatdown today.”

“Feh, if that's all they wanted, why call anyone else?” Wyn glanced over at Chip. “Wait a minute, who are you?”

“Uh, Chip. I've heard a lot about you, Wyn.”

Rob punched Chip in the arm playfully. “Yeah! Meet the newest member of the Dimensional Guardian family.”

Wyn looked disturbed. “You—You've got to be kidding me.”

Troy walked in between them. “Okay, now all of our guests have arrived.” He gestured to his right. They all followed his gesture to see Brittany and Tami, who were staring at them, mouths agape.

Rob jumped backwards in shock. He definitely wasn't expecting to see them here. “Whoa! Where'd you guys come from?”

Tami squinted as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing. “Rob? Rob Anthony? Is that...? Brittany, tell me I don't see Rob Anthony standing over there.”

Brittany continued staring at the boys. “I'm as shocked as you are.”

Rob forced a chuckle. “Heh heh. Funny story. You see, I was planning on telling you, but things kept coming up. You know how hectic life can be.”

Tami pointed. “And look there! It's...it's...”

Chip helped her out. “...Chip. Chip Stamper? Your classmate for, like, eight years?”

“Right, him! This is so weird!”

Chip sighed. “Nice to be remembered...”

“Time out here,” Tami pointed back to Rob. “You. You were the one who was trying to hide your identity last time we met. I knew your voice sounded familiar!”

Trey and Troy simply stood by and listened. They had no idea what was going on.

“Yeah. That was me,” Rob said, looking ashamed.

“But...why'd you do that?” Brittany asked softly. “Why didn't you let us know it was you?”

“I was going to, okay?” Rob said defensively. “I didn't know exactly what to do when I found out you two had Guardian powers, and I was ready to tell you, but then Chip discovered a Guardian power, and then I had to try to protect him, then he got sucked into a computer...it's a pretty long story.”

“One that you can tell later, if you survive,” Trey interrupted. “We didn't bring you here to listen to you blather.”

“Fine,” Wyn said, joining them in the center of the clearing. “Care to fill us in why you called us here, then? One person beating you down not enough?”

“Well, actually, we're not the ones looking for a fight this time,” Troy said.

“Then who is?”

“That would be me,” came a voice seemingly from nowhere.

The strange crag behind Trey and Troy shifted and changed, gradually morphing into a huge black fortress. Atop the fortress stood a silhouetted figure obscured by the sun. He jumped from the massive height to the ground below with minimal effort and faced the Guardians. He was humanoid in appearance, with spiky jet-black hair that jutted out in three directions. On his plain white shirt was stamped a black circular face with evil slitted yellow eyes. One would likely think him to be a human male in his mid-twenties, though there was definitely something off about him, and the five Guardians could sense it.

“So good of you to come, Dimensional Guardians,” he said. “You can't imagine how long I've been waiting to meet with the five of you face to face.”

“Who are you?” Rob asked.

“My name is Clonar, Dark Lord of Creturia,” the young man said. He flashed a wicked grin that made the five Guardians—Wyn included—shudder with an unexplainable terror. “...and your worst nightmare. Before I annihilate the lot of you, let me first congratulate you on your prowess in defeating my soldiers. Most impressive for a bunch of ragtag children.”

“Your soldiers?” Chip asked.

“That's right. Allow me to tell my story. I as well as my soldiers hail from a world parallel to yours, a world known as Creturia. The world was a fairly peaceful place, where both humans and monsters, known as Creturians, lived in peace. That is, until the four Dark Overlords came into existence and engulfed it in darkness. We wasted no time in amassing a large army for ourselves, enslaving the minds of weak-willed Creturians and having them do our bidding. However, after a failed attempt at ruling the land together, we decided to split it up amongst the four of us, each one taking a portion of the army we amassed and ruling over one of the four hemispheres. In time, I grew bored of my rule over the southwestern hemisphere. I wanted more. Knowing full well it'd be suicide on my part to attempt to wrestle control from my fellow Dark Overlords, I turned my attention elsewhere. Fortunately for me, I realized that there was a tear in the dimension. Yes, a whole new world just ripe for conquering lay before me! With nothing to lose, I entered the warp, and for the first time, discovered your dimension.

“What a sight! The inhabitants of Earth were weak, nothing compared to the power I had at my disposal. I knew it would take little effort to take the world for my own. Ruling a portion of Creturia was nothing compared to ruling over an entire world. Thus, I left my home in Creturia and began my plans for total conquest.

Before I could begin my conquest, however, I noticed something: an odd energy signature, one that I had sensed before: the power of the Dimensional Guardians. After getting settled in, I began sending my army to recover these powers for me.”

“And that must be where we come into the picture,” Brittany said.

“And you're the reason Creturians are turning evil and attacking us,” Wyn added. “But what's your vendetta against the Dimensional Guardians, anyway? What do you know about these powers that we don't?”

“I honestly can't say I know any more about the origins or purpose of the Guardian powers than you do, but I could feel the great power the Guardian bands emanated. If in the wrong hands, they could prove to be a threat to my rule. I wasn't about to let that happen. Little did I know a bunch of punk kids would discover the secret to unlocking the power. And I certainly didn't expect them to give any of my soldiers a run for their money. Needless to say, I knew I had to see your power for myself.”

Rob stepped forward. “Sounds to me like you made a big mistake, bucko. If we could take down your Creturians so easily apart, imagine what kind of power we have together.”

Clonar wasn't intimidated. “Full of yourself, aren't you? I didn't come to rule over a quarter of a dimension and possess a large army by sitting around and twiddling my thumbs. Their power pales in comparison to mine, and I intend to show you just how much.”

Wyn pushed Rob out of the way and stepped forward himself. “Don't waste your time with these guys. If you've got a problem with the Dimensional Guardians, take it up with me.”

Clonar smirked. “How amusing. The pitiful human wishes to fight me on his own.”

“Yeah. How sad is that?” Trey said.

“Yeah. Sad,” Troy echoed.

“Are you kidding, Wyn?” Rob said. “In case you've forgotten how to count, there are five of us and only one of him. Let's take him together.”

“Out of the four of you, you're the only one that knows how to fight, and you're not even very good,” Wyn countered. “Why get beat up when you don't have to?”

“I could ask you the same question. You can't fight that guy by yourself, he's too strong.”

“I won't know that unless I fight him, will I?”

Dark energy bursted from Clonar's body and whipped around him like a black fire. “I've had enough of this mindless bickering. Fight me, Dimensional Guardians!”

“Who am I to disappoint?” Wyn said. “Dimensional Guardians, power up!”

Rob tried to hold Wyn back, but Wyn rushed at his opponent like a mad bull. He threw a powerful punch, but Clonar zipped around it with ease. Wyn whirled around and quickly through another punch, which Clonar also avoided. Clonar stood perfectly still as Wyn punched one more time, but as Wyn's fist made contact, the dark being seemed to disappear. “Where'd you go, coward?” Wyn asked, looking around.

“Right here!” Clonar came down from the air and drop-kicked Wyn, sending him skidding through the dirt and coming to a stop in front of Rob and the others.

“So, uh, you finished?” Rob calmly asked.

Wyn grunted. “Finished?” He leaped to his feet and faced his opponent with confidence. “I've barely just started.”

Trying his hand at a long range attack, he shot a Guardian Punch at Clonar, who disappeared before the blast could hit. He scanned the area carefully. “Got you!”

He shot his elbow out behind him, but Clonar grabbed it, then flung the boy over his head and into the ground. With his arm still in Clonar's hand, Wyn launched his Guardian Punch again, sending the unsuspecting lord of darkness staggering backwards.

“All right, he got him!” Tami cheered.

Before Clonar could counterattack, Wyn gave him a firm punch to the stomach, then a boot to the head. Clonar was sent sailing, but he managed to right himself with a flip before he landed, snarling as he rubbed his face.

“Wow, Wyn is great,” Brittany said with awe.

“It ain't over yet,” Rob said.

Clonar's snarl turned into a sly smile. “I'll admit you're a fairly decent fighter, but you still don't stand a chance against me.”

Wyn huffed. “Really? My fist says different!”

Dark energy swirled around Clonar's fists as they met with Wyn's fists. “You pack quite the punch,” Clonar said.

“You ain't seen nothin' yet,” Wyn replied, his fists glowing bright orange.

Rob smiled as he realized what Wyn was doing. “Oh yeah, I've seen Wyn use this trick. This is so cool.”

Suddenly, Clonar's fists unleashed a dark wave that pushed Wyn backwards and canceled out his attack. Clonar jumped into the air as his hands continued glowing. “Beam of Darkness!” An enormous beam of black energy rushed towards Wyn, who surrounded his fists with energy to try and block the attack. He held it off for a few seconds, and then it engulfed him, sending him sailing backwards at high speed. The other Guardians scrambled out of the way as he crashed into a tree behind them, de-transforming on impact.

“Wyn! Wyn!” Rob exclaimed. “Oh man, he went down hard!”

Everyone rushed over to Wyn, who lied on the ground, barely conscious.

“Wyn, are you okay?” Brittany asked.

“Speak to us!” Tami said.

“He's...so strong...” Wyn said softly. “Run...run while you can...”

Rob frowned. “No, Wyn. We came here to fight this guy, and that's what we're gonna do.”

“W-We are?!” Chip sputtered.

“What else do you expect us to do?” Rob asked.

“Well, running away in a panic sounds pretty good right about now,” Tami said.

“We can't run, Tami. If he has the same powers as his Creturian servants, then he can hunt us down no matter where we go. We have to fight him here and now.”

“B-B-But we can't beat this guy!” Brittany said. “He took Wyn down without even breaking a sweat...”

“You're exaggerating. It looked like Wyn got a couple good shots in. Sure, maybe this guy can take on one Dimensional Guardian, but I highly doubt he can take on four at the same time.”

“But...but...” Chip objected.

“We have to be brave. There's no way we can win if we're not. C'mon, guys. We're the Dimensional Guardians!”

“What are you all babbling about now?” Clonar asked. “It's obvious that one of you isn't a challenge for me. So, what say the four of you attack me at once?”

“I was hoping you'd say that,” Rob said, turning to his teammates. “It's time, guys. You ready?”

Tami sighed. “No, but it's not like there's much we can do about it.”

“Stay focused,” Rob said. “We have to give it everything we've got. Now, let's do this! Dimensional Guardians, power up!”

Reluctantly, the other Guardians followed.

“Dimensional Guardians, power up!”

“Dimensional Guardians, power up!”

“Dimensional Guardians, power up!”

“Hopefully your fighting skills are half as impressive as your little light show,” Clonar said.

Rob took a deep breath. “Time to find out!” He charged at Clonar, and the others followed uneasily.

“The same tired routine...”

“Surround him, guys!”

Clonar watched as the Guardians got on all sides of him. “Oh my. How intimidating.”

“Don't be intimidated, boss!” Troy called to him.

Trey smacked him. “He was being sarcastic.”

Clonar shrugged his shoulders. “So. Are you just going to stand there and hope I lose my nerve, or what?”

“Laser Blast!”

Clonar disappeared and reappeared behind Rob. “All right. Since you're so eager, you can be first.”

Rob quickly turned around and prepared to fire his cannon, but Clonar put up a black shield, causing Rob's blast to explode and send the Guardian flying backwards. Brittany managed to catch him.

“You okay?” she asked.

“I'm all right. Thanks, Brittany.”

The melee that followed was brutal. Tami and Chip launched attacks at Clonar, but he disappeared quickly, and their attacks collided in midair. Clonar appeared behind Tami and knocked her feet out from under her, then kicked her away. Rob prepared to pound him into the ground, but he kicked him upward. As Tami landed on the ground, Clonar's laser blasted her out of her transformation. Clonar caught Rob as he fell from the sky, then swung him like a bat at Chip. While Chip was flying through the air, Clonar blasted him. Brittany threw her hammer at him, but he caught it with his free hand and threw Rob at her. Before they could recover, Clonar blasted them both out of their transformations, effectively ending the battle. Clonar patted his hands together with smug satisfaction. “And that settles that.”

Trey and Troy stared.

“That. Was. So. Awesome.” Troy said.

“Is there any doubt why we follow this guy?” Trey said with a laugh. “I mean really!”

“So, are you done?” Clonar asked the five de-transformed Guardians, who struggled to get to their feet. “I didn't figure you'd be much of a challenge, but that was just plain disappointing.”

“We're going...to die...aren't we?” Chip asked Rob.

“I knew...this was going...to happen,” Tami panted. “I knew it.”

“Remember...what I said...about staying and fighting?” Rob asked rhetorically. “Forget it. Run!”

Everyone took off in a panic, except for Wyn, who stood his ground. “I...don't run...from any opponent.”

Tami grabbed his arm and pulled him away.

Clonar snickered. “They always run.”

“Wow, boss, you took them down like they were nothing,” Trey said, walking up to his master.

“They are nothing, my faithful servant,” Clonar answered. “They're less than nothing compared to me.”

“But are you just going to let them go?” Troy asked.

“Sure. Why destroy them right away? I'd much rather let them stew in their defeat for a while.”

“Ooh, you are evil.”

“I'll give them some time to lick their wounds, then annihilate them completely later on,” Clonar continued. “Nothing will stand in my way from becoming the undisputed ruler of the multiverse! Clonar laughed maniacally. Trey and Troy chuckled uneasily at first, then heartily joined in as the Guardians limped away from the battlefield.

The Dimensional Guardians have united, but do they have what it takes to take down the powerful Clonar? And as the police force makes its way to Clonar's base, what surprises await them? Stay tuned to the next exciting chapter of Dimension Heroes!
