I’m unseen. Isn’t that enough for you?

I’m always sad and you don’t seem to care.

Why won’t you leave me be or get a clue?

Why don’t I just leave? None of this is fair.

Can’t you stand seeing me? Just look away.

I know you can see my sadness and pain!

Would you look at me a different way?!

Because of you I just cry in the rain.

Something I realized will change my life.

I know this person, but I didn’t see.

This one soul has caused me nothing but strife.

I just cannot believe that she is me.

I tell my other self: “I want to cry.”

“No.” she said. “But what you can do is die.”
